What brought you to the yoga?
A good friend and Groupon. We decided to give it a try.
Why do you continue to do the yoga?
It is amazing! I went into the practice expecting some much needed stretching. My body feels amazing, not only strong physically, but my posture and presence have improved. Within the first 3 months I was able to discontinue use of antianxiety and antidepressant medications. Finally, all of the wonderful people I get to practice with.
What other activities do you enjoy or participate in?
I love being a mom, cooking delicious food, good wine, and spending time with loved ones.
What day is it? I find it changes often. Today it was Standing Bow.
What words of advice do you have for a new student?
Keep going! Every day is new and different. Be kind to yourself. You have found a great thing, stick with it.
